ABOUT US
Founded in 2004, cheerNL (Formerly Newfoundland and Labrador Cheerleading Athletics (NLCA)) is a non-profit organization that promotes the sport of cheerleading throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.
cheerNL is dedicated to providing opportunities for all ages to participate safely in cheerleading activities. We strive to promote the growth of cheerleading as an athletic and social activity through a wide range of services and activities for athletes, coaches, parents and fans. We promote educational and competitive pathways for athletes to foster a lifelong enjoyment of the sport of cheerleading.
OUR MISSION
To promote and foster the growth of cheerleading in the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador by acting as the regulating body for cheerleading rules, safety guidelines, and training while encouraging sportsmanship and respect among athletes, coaches, school staff, and parents.
